The Transition from Athletes to Coaches. Joe Judge's Example in the NFL

Abstract

Many good coaches were once excellent professional athletes. But this was because they had a coach who knew how to identify them and motivate them to keep going. Today there is a great lineage of successful coaches in the NFL (National Football League) who were once students and professional athletes dedicated to teaching and who considered that they could transmit their knowledge and technical preparation and continue in the world of sport, where they will motivate other learners. This is the case of Joe Judge, who, thanks to the experience acquired by coach Belichick, will begin his second season in charge of the Giants; and he will continue down the path he started with Belichick.
