Abandonment of the sport of young talents due to inadequate administration and management

Abstract

In the present article we intend to establish a study on the abandonment of sports practice and the incidence of inadequate sports management. For this, the different factors that intervene in it are considered. The methodology used was the documentary analysis, the reasoning and the deduction. At the end, some preliminary conclusions are presented, based on empirical research related to the performance of poor management in sport as a cause of abandonment. In the current sports process, the set of actors that make up the multidisciplinary team plays an important role in obtaining sporting success. However, a key aspect and very little analyzed is the influence of the work of the sports manager; person in charge of performing all the necessary actions so that the athletes achieve their specific task during the competition and focus on achieving the expected results in it.
