What is Beta Alanine and What is it For?
Abstract
Beta alanine is a supplement widely used by athletes who seek to enhance their physical performance and obtain optimal results. It is a non-essential amino acid that is not used to synthesize proteins, but instead plays a key role in the production of carnosine, a molecule found primarily in muscles and the brain. There are dosage recommendations to make the most of its benefits, remembering that always, before incorporating any supplement into a training routine, it is advisable to consult a health or nutrition professional.
