World Cup 2030: Which Country Presented the Most Venues and which are the Candidate Cities?

Abstract

The 2030 Soccer World Cup is going to take place in Portugal, Morocco and Spain. Each of the countries strives to obtain a prominent role in the event. Spain aspires to be the epicenter of the tournament and in that sense it presents 15 stadiums, including the Santiago Bernabéu and the Metropolitano in Madrid, as well as the Camp Nou and the RCDE Stadium in Barcelona, in addition to others in various regions of the country. Portugal has three headquarters in the cities of Lisbon and Porto. Morocco has presented six candidate venues in cities such as Agadir, Marrakech, Casablanca, Rabat, Tangier and Fez, with the expectation of hosting the grand final of the World Cup. The International Football Federation (FIFA) will make the final decision at the end of next year.
