How many Champions League Finals has Borussia Dortmund Played?
Abstract
Borussia Dortmund has participated in three Champions League finals. In 1997 they beat Juventus 3-1 in Munich, obtaining their first Champions League title for the club. In 2013 they were defeated 2-1 by Bayern Munich at Wembley. This year they will face Real Madrid in the final on May 28 again at Wembley. In total, Dortmund have won 1 of their 3 Champions League finals. The team has proven to be a formidable competitor in Europe, reaching the finals in different eras. The 1997 victory was a milestone, while the 2013 final showed their ability to compete against the best. The 2024 final is a new opportunity to make history.
