Abstract

Technology is revolutionizing sport from training to competition. Advancement in materials produces smart clothing and footwear with sensors to optimize performance. For their part, simulations recreate real scenarios to improve technique and decision making. Regarding monitoring, the athlete's health is controlled in real time to prevent injuries and optimize recovery. Applications to refereeing allow technologies such as VAR and slow motion to help make fewer mistakes. In short, benefits are obtained in improving performance, safety and justice in sport.
