The Influence of Gamification on Online Casinos

Abstract

Online casinos have evolved greatly, moving from simple poker platforms to complex virtual worlds with various gaming options. To keep players interested, these casinos have adopted gamification techniques, that is, the application of gaming elements in non-playful contexts. Gamification motivates players and creates a sense of belonging. By making the game more fun and attractive, casinos manage to retain their customers and increase the time they spend on the platform, in a highly competitive environment.
