Efeitos do treinamento de resistência em diferentes intensidades em jogadores de futebol pré-púberes
Resumo
Introdução: A força é um componente essencial da aptidão física, por isso pode representar uma unidade fundamental nos processos de crescimento e desenvolvimento infantil. Objetivo: Comparar os efeitos de dois protocolos de treinamento resistido no desenvolvimento de força e resistência muscular em meninos pré-púberes do futebol. Métodos. Participaram deste estudo prospectivo longitudinal 32 crianças pré-púberes (10,4 ± 0,3 anos), divididas em dois grupos por conveniência, o grupo de cargas baixas (CB) e o grupo de cargas moderadas (CM). Ambos os grupos realizaram 2 sessões semanais de treinamento resistido durante 8 semanas, completando o mesmo volume de treinamento, com intensidade relativa de 50% para BC e 75% de 1RM para CM, nos exercícios leg press e supino reto. 1RM foi avaliado no supino (1RM-PB) e leg press (1RM-PP); repetições máximas alcançáveis a 50% e 75% no supino (PB50% e PB75%) e leg press (PP50% e PP75%). Resultados. O 1RM-PB aumentou significativamente em ambos os grupos (CM: 27% e CB: 19%), assim como o 1RM-PP (CM: 50% e CB: 31%). O PP50%, PP75% e PB50% aumentaram significativamente em ambos os grupos (CB: 73,27%, 13,40%, 5,34%; CM: 21,4%, 29,1%, 3,68%, respectivamente). Apenas o grupo CM alcançou melhorias no PB75% (39%). Conclusões. A força e a resistência muscular podem ser melhoradas durante a infância, prescrevendo-se protocolos de treinamento de força de carga moderada durante o período inicial de treinamento.
