Autonomia pessoal em estudantes autistas através de um sistema inclusivo de atividades psicomotoras num programa pré-profissionalizante
Resumo
Este estudo abordou as implicações das competências psicomotoras como campo de intervenção no processo educativo de um aluno autista com elevados níveis de suporte. Foi realizado um estudo de caso, com amostragem voluntária, cuja metodologia de análise foi orientada pela teoria fundamentada, para elucidar o impacto da execução de um sistema inclusivo de atividades psicomotrices (SIAP) na autonomia pessoal (AP). Os resultados mostraram o surgimento de uma teoria cuja categoria central é a AP como indicador de desenvolvimento integral, com categorias substantivas compostas por quatro conceitos: fatores potenciadores, fatores condicionantes, experiências adquiridas e manifestações comportamentais. As associações identificadas revelaram impactos significativos gerados pelas e sobre as categorias. O desenvolvimento da AP do aluno e o papel assumido pelo professor de Educação Física no SIAP convergem com perspetivas científicas sobre a autonomia como categoria que representa mais do que independência executiva. Concluindo, o SIAP desenhado gera um impacto favorável significativo na AP, com melhorias que não se restringem às capacidades físicas e motoras, pois promovem também a capacidade de adaptação, comunicação e participação ativa do aluno em diferentes contextos, gerando, por sua vez, um impacto favorável no seu desenvolvimento integral.
