Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine how the declarative knowledge of soccer players varies through the use of video and new technologies, through the autonomous learning of youth soccer players. The investigation is composed of 14 youth soccer players with low level of expertise. The measuring instrument used was a questionnaire created ad hoc with 18 items focused on the individual offensive and defensive tactics. Declarative knowledge improves more than 22% after the intervention. The greatest improvement is experienced in the offensive tactics and although there are no significant differences between the groups of defensive and offensive tactical variables, there are significant differences between items.
