Abstract

People go to gyms for a variety of reasons: to feel and stay healthy, to lose weight, and even to socialize. The majority that do not attend is because they do not have the necessary money to pay the monthly fee or because they consider the gym an intimidating place and prefer to exercise in other places. When exercising it is important to do it consciously with the professional guidance of teachers or trainers. Regarding the latest trends in fitness, the use of applications to exercise stands out; yoga and pilates expand their followers; and indoor surfing, everesting and twerking take hold.
