Blood lactate responses during continual increasing stages of efforts in triathlete cycling modality
Abstract
The article aims, play a lactate threshold test field for triathlon cycling mode and determine the athlete's performance level using continuous increasing intensities. He participated in the work an athlete with ten years’ experience in the sport. The test was performed with an interval of three months and each assessment was divided into seven stages, each with different levels of effort. The results showed that in the first evaluation athlete 300 watts generated with FC 165 bpm, lactate 6.0 mm, speed 38 km/h average rate of 87 rpm. For the second test was its HR 162 bpm, lactate, 5,9 mm, power 300 watts, speed 38 km/h and average cadence of 87 rpm. And third evaluation HR was 158 bpm, lactate, 5.0 mm, power 300 watts, speed 38 km/h average cadence 95 rpm. In conclusion can be said that the test applied is feasible to determine the athletic level.
