The education in movement: analysis of a Physical Education session from a phenomenological approach

Abstract

Although phenomenology could be one of the ways that allows us to lay the theoretical basis for proposing practices that are governed by a holistic mind-body approach, research rarely connects its methods with the principles of phenomenological philosophy. Therefore, this article aims to design and analyze a practical experience of Physical Education based on the principles of phenomenological philosophy from the perception of participating students. A qualitative methodology is used from the field diary of the researcher and the autobiographical accounts of the participating students. This article aims to be an anchor point for physical education teachers dares to change their practices from a phenomenological approach.
