Procedure for the construction of planning model by common contents in the Modern Pentathlon
Abstract
Introduction: This issue contents the study made on the high performance Modern Pentathlon that is a task of the research project “Approaching to new theoretical models of sport training planning”. Objective: This research arose from the necessity of finding new training planning models leaning on some of the nowadays theoretical fundamentals of sport planning models or structures. Methods: To seek these particularities it was made a script to interviewing this sport trainers and another to make technical observations of training sessions which results gave a starting point for the exploratory stage of this research. Results: Considering these prior ideas, the goal is finding the sport specialization of five different events but having in the other hand the common contents they might have, so it can be structured a theoretical planning model that responds to competitive demands of Modern Pentathlon. Conclusions: The obtained results showed theoretical insufficiencies in planning procedures which limits the correct satisfaction of sport requests of this modality.
