A Space for Reflection for the Pedagogical Practices of Physical Education

Abstract

This work is a review of the book "General didactics in secondary education" by the authors Vicent Carette and Bernard Rey. This work is made up of 3 chapters, addressing issues such as concepts of learning, teaching practice, skills, knowledge and school disciplines. From this perspective, it seeks to highlight the importance of the teaching role in school, based on the complexities of the profession, as well as the functions attributed to it. For this reason, the training of the educator is oriented and sustained in the pedagogical and didactic bases, generating possible reflections to include in the field of physical education. Throughout the document, it is intended to visualize these contributions to the specific field of Physical Education didactic strategies, visible in pedagogical work in general and, in particular, in secondary education.
