Periodização para esportes de combate: uma abordagem inovadora de acordo com suas demandas específicas
Resumo
A periodização é uma arte, a partir da qual o treinamento é organizado de forma a atingir o máximo desempenho dos atletas no momento da competição. No caso dos atletas de combate, as exigências das diversas modalidades são altamente complexas, exigindo a formulação de programas que permitam prepará-los adequadamente. Embora existam modelos de periodização que surgiram especificamente para estas atividades, a ciência do treino continua a avançar e permite-nos formular novas propostas baseadas numa grande quantidade de informação, aliada à experiência de cada treinador. O objetivo deste ensaio é apresentar um sistema de periodização inovador, que é proposto como uma variante para a preparação de atletas de combate.
