Elite Diets versus Healthy Diet
Abstract
A healthy diet is different from the diets used by elite athletes. Professional athletes have specialized nutritionists and their goal is to obtain maximum performance. A healthy diet should be balanced and rich in nutrients. In essence, it should include fruits and vegetables and reduce saturated fat, salt, sugar and cholesterol.
